Martin Shefsky is the Founder and CEO of mPath Therapeutics. He founded 48 North, Canada’s 39th Licensed Producer of Cannabis, taking it public before being acquired by Hexo, ultimately absorbed into Tilray, a multibillion-dollar Canadian drug producer. He is a co-founder and Director of sister companies, Pure Jamaican and Seven 10 Pharmaceuticals and has over 20 years of experience leading startup and early-stage growth companies across North America.
Boaz Wachtel is an Ibogaine Pioneer and a Strategic Advisor to mPath Therapeutics. He is a certified clinical research manager and co-author of the Manual for Ibogaine Therapy (2003) with the late Howard Lotsof – the American researcher who discovered and pioneered the use of ibogaine in the treatment of substance addictions. Mr. Wachtel has successfully treated over 100 patients in the Netherlands, Panama, and Israel. He co-founded Global Ibogaine Treatment Alliance and MMJ-Phytotech Ltd, Australia’s first publicly traded Medical Cannabis Company. He co-founded the International Medical Cannabis Patient Coalition, and is an Israeli medical cannabis and Ibogaine pioneer/activist who helped formulate and assist the Ministry of Health with the implementation of the National Medical Cannabis Program.
