Acura

Small refinements keep Acura’s hatchback sharp, stylish, and right where it belongs

In a world where automakers are constantly chasing reinvention, sometimes the smartest move is to step back and not overthink it. That’s exactly the route Acura is taking with the 2026 Integra, a car that already nailed its formula and now returns with just enough updates to keep things fresh without disrupting its core identity.

For 2026, Acura wisely leaves the Integra’s mechanical setup untouched. That means the same enthusiastic 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder returns, offering 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. It still comes standard with a CVT, but real enthusiasts will continue to gravitate toward the A-Spec Technology Package, which brings the always-welcome six-speed manual transmission, adaptive dampers, and a limited-slip differential. For drivers who still appreciate the connection and engagement of a manual, it’s a combo that’s hard to beat in this price bracket.

On the tech front, Acura made a few meaningful changes. A new 9-inch infotainment screen replaces the previous 7-inch unit, now joined by standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a wireless charging pad. Previously, you had to splurge for the top trim to get that level of convenience, but now it’s baked into all models, making the base Integra an even better value.

Aesthetically, things are only slightly tweaked — again, in a good way. Inside, A-Spec trims gain more ambient lighting and revised dash materials, while a light Orchid interior gets a splash of color with blue suede inserts. Subtle, but thoughtful. The exterior sees some sportier cues too, with A-Spec models receiving a new front splitter, fresh side skirts, and redesigned 18-inch wheels. Acura also adds three new paint options to the palette: Solar Silver Metallic, Urban Gray Metallic, and Double Apex Blue Pearl. Even grille customization has been expanded, with color-matched options now available depending on your chosen body color.

Pricing hasn’t been officially released, but Acura will likely stay in a similar range to the 2025 model, which starts at $34,195 and tops out near $39,195. Considering the upgrades and the ongoing inflationary pressures hitting the industry, a modest bump wouldn’t be surprising. Still, even at the higher end, the Integra holds its ground as a value-packed alternative to more expensive (and increasingly cost-cutting) European rivals.

Importantly, the Integra is built in Marysville, Ohio, which means it’s shielded from the wave of new import tariffs that have shaken other automakers recently. While some of its components may still be exposed to cost fluctuations, its U.S. assembly location is a reassuring detail for buyers looking to avoid sticker shock in 2026.

The bottom line? Acura didn’t mess with success. The 2026 Integra continues to offer what buyers want: sharp handling, a premium interior that feels more upscale than its price, and just enough tech to feel modern. In a segment where some competitors are retreating or raising prices to uncomfortable levels, the Integra quietly stays the course — and that’s exactly why it continues to shine.
