2024 Cadillac XT6 to Become All-Electric SUV?

2024 Cadillac XT6 to Become All-Electric SUV?

Posted on September 27, 2024 By rehan.rafique No Comments on 2024 Cadillac XT6 to Become All-Electric SUV?

The forthcoming 2024 Cadillac XT6 is going on sale once again. This time, spy photos are showing numerous upgrades, mostly on the outside. However, the interior should receive various upgrades as well. Still, the highlight of the 2024MY could be the all-electric XT6.

This is just a rumor at the moment. However, something is going on, as it seems that the EV model is truly on the way. No matter what happens, XT6 will remain a luxury mid-size SUV with a high level of comfort, solid performance, and very upright styling.

Spy Shots

The 2024 Cadillac XT6 will wear a recognizable and very modern design. First spy shots are already available, showing the most recent styling upgrades. Interestingly, it seems like the next XT6 will become an EV. This is, of course, not official at the moment. We can’t determine if the prototype is bigger than the current XT6. However, Cadillac is ready to introduce a three-row variant.

The front fascia looks completely new, and even the rear section seems to be wearing a lot of novelties. Still, heavy camouflage perfectly hides the latest upgrades. The XT6 model will look refreshed, premium, and quite modern. The only exception should be the speculated EV model, which will look more futuristic.

Cadillac XT6 Interior Refresh

Unfortunately, spy shots didn’t provide any of the interior details. Anyway, the 2024 Cadillac XT6 will surely gain a lot of novelties. There will be room for seven passengers, and the base model will once again offer the same 8-inch infotainment touchscreen. The infotainment system will gain important updates, and this SUV will also introduce new driver-assist aids.

Even the base model is premium enough, but upper trim levels are offering real luxury. If the all-electric XT6 truly arrives, we expect more touch-sensitive functions, a more modern instrument cluster, and slightly sportier approach generally.

Engine Specs

For a start, the all-electric version makes perfect sense. Many reports are already written about the 2024 Cadillac XT6 EV. Therefore, we expect to see two variants, one with a gasoline engine, and the second version with an all-electric powertrain. A current turbo-four gas output produces 237 hp and this engine will be on offer once again.

Optionally, there is a larger V6 engine that generates 310 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. That is not good enough for the luxury mid-size segment. Because of that, XT6 is about to introduce its first-ever all-electric version. Right now, no one knows the exact specs, including the vehicle’s power and driving range. On the other hand, the EV model will borrow a lot of things from the Lyriq model, no doubt about that.

2024 Cadillac XT6 Price and Release Date

The price of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 will start at around $50,000 or slightly below that. On the other hand, the potential all-electric XT6 would cost significantly more, almost $70k. The sales will begin later this year, and we hope to hear more official details in the following weeks.
