2023 CPO or new? | SwedeSpeed

Posted on June 28, 2025 By rehan.rafique No Comments on 2023 CPO or new? | SwedeSpeed

I am a long time driver of my current 2006V 70 R. I am looking to add another Volvo to my household. I am looking at the XC 60 T8 Ultimate or Plus. I can find a CPO 2023 Ultimate with 12 to 16,000 miles on it for roughly $49-51K. A new 2025 would run me somewhere in the low to mid 60s. Any recommendation on saving $10,000 in buying the CPO or just bite the bullet and go with the new 2025. I understand that the CPO will have four years of original warranty which would run me through 2027. I get one extra year because of the CPO that would take it to 2028. My plan would be to add 3-4 additional years of warranty since it’s obvious I hold my Volvo for a long time. Any recommendations and even price points if you are willing, I would appreciate it. Greetings from Corte Madera,CA

many different ways to approach this. depends on the amount of risk your willing to take, value of being the one and only owner and how valuable a warranty is to you.

you will need to assign $ to each of these considerations to come to the conclusion you can live with.

I bought a 2023 B5 with 100K+ miles, no warranty for ~$20K. it was a highway corporate fleet car traded into a non Volvo dealer that wanted to move the car.
