Saturn man

Last year I flew and picked up my dream spec s40 in Oregon and drove it back home to Michigan where I have turned it into THE s40. Ill link the old build thread from the previous owner HERE (@RG8).

Anyways, this has been quite the project so far, ill just dump everything I’ve done in chronological order in this thread.

Paint was in need of some love so started off with a 2 step cut and polish followed by ceramic coating it.

Felt very slow when it got hot out, figured out my intake temps were hitting mid 130’s so had to upgrade the intercooler. The stock one is very restrictive and small. I went with the D088 big pack with the upgraded piping. It technically is only for the FWD model but with a long screw and a couple jam nuts you can easily make it work. I also had to get a mishimoto 2″ to 2.5″ coupler that is longer than the one that comes with the kit as the hard pipe sits about a half inch lower when it has to go around the AWD transfer case.

Noticed that it didn’t come with the R design rear diffuser, so ordered one of those from volvo, only $100 but it did take almost 3 months to get to the states from Sweden.
