For sale is my 2006 V70R finished in Electric Silver with Nordkap interior. The car has 175k miles and is up to date on all maintenance items. The original 477 paint is in 8/10 condition, showing usual rock chipping on the front bumper and hood, with no dings or dents present on the body. The rear bumper could use replacing as it was damaged in a minor accident in January 2024. The interior is in 8/10 condition with no rips or tears, though cracking is present on the driver’s seat. Being a northern car there is rust on the undercarriage but prone areas like strut towers, rear arches, rocker panels and jack points are fully intact.
Recent work:
- NEW Genuine Volvo TF80 6 speed auto, angle gear, collar sleeve, DEM, and haldex pump – all with about 50k miles on them.
- 4C, TME springs, control arms, etc. all have 50k miles on them as well.
- Timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, all tensioners/pulleys/idlers, and tailgate wiring harness were replaced in March of 2025. Also did an alignment.
- Engine mounts, brake fluid, power steering fluid, coil packs, spark plugs, front brakes, Pilot Sport 4S tires, thermostat, and battery were replaced in 2024.
- The airbag recall was completed in 2024 and I transferred the original leather cover to the new inflator.
Modifications:
- BorgWarner EFR7163 turbo, Enem cams, CNC ported head, shimmed 4T4 block, 1000cc injectors, larger fuel pump, Snabb FMIC, piping, and intake, RS4 MAF, custom ReVolv downpipe, TME catback, and IPD boost gauge. All performance modifications were completed by ReVolv in 2021.
- IPD sway bars, rear toe arms (NEW & powder coated – they will not rust), Delrin subframe bushings, poly control arm bushings, Ultra Racing rear chassis brace and strut mount brace.
- HID Projector euro lights
- Genuine Volvo trailer hitch
Flaws:
- The front passenger axle makes noise around corners sometimes.
- Front sway bar bushings due for replacement.
- Anti Skid light on for 1 brake pressure sensor. I have the part, but have not installed it.
- Burns <1qt of oil every oil change interval (4,500 miles)
Included in the sale are two switchblade key fobs, owner’s manual, and service records from my ownership. Clean NC title in hand with no lien. Car was reported a total loss in MA in January of 2024 for bumper cover but NEVER salvage as MA does not issue salvage certificates for vehicles over 10 years old.
