Besides that, most of you will recognize that the front end is from a V70R, I did the swap out of frustration 1 and 2 to preserve the original 850R front end. I had it fixed twice over the years due to large debris left in the road for it to eat. the last time was a small gas can in the middle of the highway that I could not miss due to being in between 2 semis. So that was it for me, I went to my favorite Volvo dealer in my area to see if the 850R front fascia was still available but nope, discontinued. So, I asked about the V70R and sure enough you could still buy them new. So I bought one and all the accessories needed to make it work. The hood and fenders are from a S70. I spent thousands on this swap alone, I have the receipts to prove it. The original front end comes with the sale of the car.
I have done a few upgrades and maintenance along the way. All bolt ones, no boost upgrades or ecu flashes. I also babied the car as I do all my cars. Some upgrades are as follows:
-Big Bore Intake
-Full Ultra Racing Chassis Bracing (chassis and rear upper shock tower, Volvo aluminum front)
-3″ cat back exhaust
-Do88 aluminum radiator
-Rear big brake upgrade
-Tow hitch installed (never used)
-V70R Front end swap (comes with original 850R front end) pictures of swap and paint available*
-Timing belt, water pump and pulleys done at 200k
